Firstly measure the dimensions of your room, if the room is an irregular shape, it's useful to break it down into natural blocks and combine the square meterage of each block

Once you have calculated a reasonably accurate square meter value for your room/project, you need to factor in wastage. A decent figure to work to for wastage is 5%, this should cover natural wastage and the odd mistake!

Finally, divide the total (sqm + wastage) by the pack sqm size to get the number of packs required.
